Pool Water Treatment / Pool Balancers

Calcium hardness levels need to be between 175 and 225 ppm in vinyl and fiberglass pools unless otherwise recommended by your water care product.  If calcium levels are too low your pool water will draw calcium from your pool wall surface,  components, and even from your body.  over time low calcium will cause components to become brittle.  If your calcium level is too high, you will need to dilute the water by partially draining and refilling the pool.  Calcium is a slow dissolving chemical.  if possible mix in a bucket, and broadcast around the perimeter of the pool.
